RAMONES Tribute Album Nearing Completion

MARILYN MANSON, STATIC-X, ROB ZOMBIE, MOTORHEAD and the RED HOT CHILI PEPPERS have finished recording their contributions to the upcoming RAMONES tribute album, which is currently being produced by Rob Zombie and RAMONES guitarist Johnny Ramone for a late 2002 release. STATIC-X reportedly covered "Gimme Gimme Shock Treatment", while ROB ZOMBIE tracked a version of "Blitzkrieg Bop". Other artists that are tentatively scheduled to appear on the upcoming CD are THE OFFSPRING, RANCID, EDDIE VEDDER and JOE STRUMMER.
